TDEE by Bodyweight and Activity Level
This table shows total daily energy expenditure (maintenance calories) for a 35-year-old male at 178 cm across bodyweight (55–115 kg) and five activity levels. For example, an 85 kg moderately active person needs about 2,778 kcal/day.
Every value below is computed live from the TDEE calculator engine (Mifflin-St Jeor BMR × activity factor). Read the methodology, how the BMR formulas compare, or the sedentary-vs-active case study.
TDEE grid: bodyweight rows × activity-level columns
| kg \ activity | Sedentary ×1.2 | Light ×1.375 | Moderate ×1.55 | Very active ×1.725 | Athlete ×1.9 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 55 | 1,791 | 2,052 | 2,313 | 2,575 | 2,836 |
| 65 | 1,911 | 2,190 | 2,468 | 2,747 | 3,026 |
| 75 | 2,031 | 2,327 | 2,623 | 2,920 | 3,216 |
| 85 | 2,151 | 2,465 | 2,778 | 3,092 | 3,406 |
| 95 | 2,271 | 2,602 | 2,933 | 3,265 | 3,596 |
| 105 | 2,391 | 2,740 | 3,088 | 3,437 | 3,786 |
| 115 | 2,511 | 2,877 | 3,243 | 3,610 | 3,976 |
Cells are maintenance calories per day (Mifflin-St Jeor BMR × activity factor). Heavier bodyweight and a higher activity multiplier both raise TDEE; the same person can vary by 700+ kcal between sedentary and athlete.

Generation note: the engine is deterministic — no wall-clock, no randomness — so each cell reproduces exactly on every build. The full grid is embedded as machine-readable JSON and recomputed by our CI gate against a fresh engine run; the table and CSV are rendered from those same outputs, never hand-entered.
